Overview
- The Ocular pharmacology specialty is concerned with establishment of
experimental animal models of different ocular diseases e.g. diabetic
complications, cataract, dry eye, inflammation and glaucoma with the aim of
developing new drug application for these diseases. - Toxic effects of drugs or
toxins are also studied in different ocular tissues. - Development of new ocular drug delivery systems is an additional field of special
interest.
